Join Penn Highlands Healthcare as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) where your expertise in handling surgical instruments will enhance patient care during surgeries. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency.
In this position, you will be responsible for both patient care and the management of surgical instruments during the entirety of the preoperative process. Effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team to uphold the highest standards of care and ensure patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and manage surgical instruments preoperatively
• Provide patient care and support during the surgical process
• Interact with healthcare teams and patients professionally
• Maintain established standards of care in your practice
• Participate in the department's on-call schedule as needed
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology Program
• Previous experience in a perioperative setting preferred
