Operating Room Technician (OR Tech)

A facility in Amsterdam, NY is looking for an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) with a minimum of 3 years experience required. On call required. Candidate must be located within 15 minutes of facility when on call. On call every 4th weekend and up to 2 times during the week. CST required unless grandfathered in. DaVinci Robotic experience required. Must have at least 1 year travel experience required; preferably showing renewals. St Mary's will not consider previous staff members as travelers. Strictly 5/8s.

Unit Details:

• 6 beds - 1:1 patient ratio
• 3 years ORT experience required
• BLS required
• Call is 4:30p.m to 7a.m.
• Weekend call is Friday 4:30p.m. to Monday 7a.m.
• Experience with general surgery; spine, ortho, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, oral surgery, podiatry - daVinci Robot experience
• Most on call cases C-sections, appendectomy & orthopedic
