Certified Sterile Processing Technician

**Description:**

The Sterile Processing Technician II ensures safe, accurate processing and availability of surgical instruments and supplies to support high-quality patient care. This role collaborates closely with Surgery, OB, ED, and other departments.

Shift hours would be Mon-Fri 12:00pm-8:30pm

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment
+ Prepare instrument trays, case carts, crash carts, procedure kits, and drape packs
+ Perform and document sterilization monitoring (biological and chemical testing)
+ Identify instruments needing repair, sharpening, or replacement
+ Maintain inventory, par levels, and supply rotation; remove outdated or damaged items
+ Support operating rooms during procedures as needed
+ Utilize department systems (e.g., Lawson, SPM, Omnicell); serve as Super User ...
