Job Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology at Denver Health includes 20 attending physicians and 42 CRNAs who deliver high-quality perioperative care across one of the nation’s top safety-net systems. CRNAs will work in a collaborative environment evaluating patients pre-operatively, formulating the anesthetic plan, and administering the anesthesia autonomously. An anesthesiologist is available for consultation and help if needed. CRNAs also provide anesthesia care for obstetrical related cases to include caesarean sections, epidurals, dilation and curettage, tubal ligations which can be scheduled or emergency obstetrical procedures. Safely transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period.
