A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a state certified professional that provides direct, hands-on care to individuals. They assist in the direct health care of individuals under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Examples of work include (but are not limited to) checking vital signs and blood sugars, catheter care, specimen collection, obtaining heights and weights, assist with feeding, assist with positioning, lifting and transferring, maintaining inventroy of medical supplies, assist with cleaning equipment, assist with oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments. 

Requirements

PA CNA Certification with minimum of 1 year of long term care experience. CPR certification preferred.
