Certified Millwright- Elko

We are seeking a Certified Millwright for our Elko, BC sawmill to apply Red Seal expertise, strong communication, and troubleshooting skills to maintain peak performance of our modern sawmill.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mill machinery, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance by inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Manage time effectively and coordinate assembly, movement, replacement or dismantling of machinery.
• Troubleshoot issues, enhance equipment reliability, and implement safe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running.
• Identify parts needed for timely repairs and keep inventory accurate.
• Assist in creating a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and site visitors.
