Central Sterile Tech (Per Diem) - Central Processing Department

UNC Health is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Central Processing Department. Applicants must have at least 9 months of relevant experience. The schedule for this per diem position will be night shift, 9pm - 7am.

Summary:
Processes and issues routine and specialized medical/surgical supplies and instruments used in the care and treatment of patients. Cleans, sterilizes, and packages medical and surgical instrument trays and inventories.

Responsibilities:
1. Assembles baskets of instruments, basin sets and equipment using appropriate check lists and prepares for sterilization.
