CEI Inspector - District 3

Job Title: CEI Inspector Work Location: West Central Georgia-GDOT District 3 Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor the contractor's on-site construction activities, performing inspections, and conducting field material sampling and testing to ensure conformance to project plans and specifications
• Conduct a wide variety of materials testing, construction inspections and monitoring of traffic controls.
• Perform field sampling and testing of soil density, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials
• Perform routine field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, GDOT or other standards
• Ensure quality assurance is maintained.
• Inspect contractor's traffic control during transportation construction project.
• Meets scheduling and attendance requirements.
