CDC Classroom Staff

Responsibilities

Classroom staff members structure the childcare environment to support the development of happy, healthy, compassionate, and socially confident children who are prepared to successfully face challenges beyond the security of the CDC through a variety of experiences and inter-active activities. In addition, all classroom staff will need to implement the daily schedule as planned,communicate with parents in English, conduct developmental assessments, create childcare plans, and provide childcare that values each and every child's individual

needs. Most of the day is spent interacting with children and non-contact time(time without supervisory responsibility of children) is limited. Classroom staff are expected to ensure that care is provided in compliance with CDC policies and procedures and reports should be completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
