Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Sybil Andrews Academy, Bury St. Edmunds to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is term‑time only and does not require weekend working, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

Key Details

• £12.71 per hour
• 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
• Term‑time only – working 38 weeks per year

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tasty food and snacks.
• Previous school catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Comply with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, counter and restaurant areas.
• Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• Represent Caterlink and maintain a positive brand image.
