Catering Assistant

Overview: A Catering Assistant supports the preparation, delivery, and service of food and beverages in catering environments such as schools, hospitals, corporate offices, or events. Key Responsibilities: Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, assembling dishes) Serve meals and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, service areas, and dining spaces Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations Set up and clear down service areas, including equipment and tables Support stock rotation and storage procedures Provide friendly customer service and respond to queries Requirements: Previous catering or hospitality experience (desirable, not essential) Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided) Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexible approach to working hours
