Category Manager - Electrical & Proprietary

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for procurement category of Electrical and Proprietary Components.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Category Procurement - Manage procurement of the Electrical, Electronics & Polymer Parts (associated with Electrical/Electronics)- Motors, Switches, Magnets & Proprietary parts.;
Identify the category strategy;
Ensure the procurement at reasonable cost through various means;
Responsible for end-to-end sourcing activities and ensure no supply disruptions.

2. Responsible for alternate source development by keeping a tap on quality and cost. Ensure the closure of all audit NCs from vendors before releasing the next order.
