Category Buyer

Schedule: Daily Onsite (Monday-Friday), Compressed work week.

Level: Can be Manager or Buyer level depending on the experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end purchasing and product development for your category.
• Source suppliers, negotiate terms, develop specifications and launch O!Save private label products.
• Build and manage a targeted assortment aligned with customer needs and hard discount purchasing principles.
• Negotiate high-impact supply agreements and cultivate vendor partnerships across local and international supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-10 years of experience in retail purchasing, or food related buying.
• He/She Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
• Has strong analytical skills to assess product performance and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
