**RN, Registered Nurse - Forensic/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner**
**Position Purpose:**
The Forensic Registered Nurse, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Forensic RN functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.

+ Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care
+ Follows policies, procedures, and protocols for the program including signing a contract to provide Forensic Nurse commitment
+ Competes detailed history of the forensic assault and assessment of injuries
