Job Description

 
  Position Summary: 
 The Lifeguard / Instructor will work with the Aquatic Centre team to ensure the safety of the public while adhering to all relevant legislation, policy and procedure for the Town of Strathmore. Responsibility includes preparing lesson plans, delivering instruction based on the program standards and complete report cards.
 We strive to provide exceptional aquatic programs and services in a safe environment, with the goal of enhancing quality of life and inspiring personal growth in all areas of aquatics.
  Duties will include but are not limited to: 
 Educating the public on the rules of the facility and water safety 
 Creating lesson plans and instructing the Canadian Red Cross Program, Lifesaving Society Program and other programs and services the facility might offer
 Attending the instructor meeting before each new lesson set
