Become a Casual Gentle Exercise Leader with Community Support Connections, facilitating engaging classes for older adults in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge. Experience the joy of promoting fitness and wellness in your community.
This role requires collaboration with the Fall Prevention and Exercise Team to lead tailored, gentle exercise sessions. You will adapt activities to ensure inclusivity and enjoyment, while fostering independence and social interaction among participants, whether in-person or online.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead gentle exercise classes in different community settings
• Monitor and adapt exercises to suit all participants
• Serve as a backup for scheduled classes when needed
• Promote fitness initiatives within the senior community
• Ensure participant safety and health during sessions
