Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who share our organisation's values and behaviours to join our Community and Wellbeing Team on a casual basis. As a Community Activity Leader, you will lead the delivery of high quality and fun community‑based activities to improve residents' health and wellbeing across the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high quality, fun community‑based activities, including the Council's Play in the Park programme, which provides play equipment and games for families to enjoy free of charge.
- Plan, organise and run a range of activities such as sports, physical activity, arts, cultural activities, multi‑sports, craft camps, after‑school clubs, day trips and special events.
- Work with children and young people, including those with SEND, to deliver inclusive and engaging programmes.
