Job Description

• A cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the accuracy of financial exchanges.
• Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Operate cash registers, scanners, and credit card terminals.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods securely.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus but not always necessary.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems (training may be provided).
• Strong numerical and basic math skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
