Cashbook Controller

A well-established automotive group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cashbook Controller to join its Motor Retail Head Office team based in Milnerton, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bank account processing and payment controls across multiple dealerships within the Western Cape. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment within a large, diversified group.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing, allocating, and reconciling multiple bank accounts on a daily basis
• Managing the flow of daily ad-hoc payments, including reviewing payments and coordinating with other stakeholders involved in the payment review process
• Ensuring timelines are met in accordance with standard operating procedures related to payments
• Reporting directly to the Financial Manager and liaising with senior management when required
