Carpentry Teacher - SEN College - Croydon - ASAP Start - Long Term

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpentry Teacher to join a specialist SEN College in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vocational teacher or experienced carpenter to support secondary‑aged students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in developing practical skills, confidence, independence, and future employability.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging theory and workshop‑based lessons, supporting learners through practical assessments and helping them develop the technical knowledge, behaviours, and industry standards required within Carpentry and Joinery. A strong understanding of behaviour management is essential, as you will be working with students who may present a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
