Carpenter/Maintenance Operative

We are recruiting for a Carpenter/Maintenance Operative to join our team at The Kingsley.

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and well-presented operation of all internal and external areas across the property. The Carpenter/Maintenance Operative will work closely with the Engineering team to support a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel, including doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and general woodwork
• Support with general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and repair work
• Assist with the hotel's preventative maintenance programme
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Maintain equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order
