Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and-operated manufacturing center located in New York. Responsibilities Plan and layout work in accordance with drawings, sketches, blueprints, and knowledge of construction. Measure and cut materials to exact specifications using straight, angle and curved cuts to ensure accurate fit, alignment, structural soundness and finished appearance. Use and set up hand and power tools and equipment. Install rafters, studs, sills plaster braces joists, floors, sub-floors, panels (including sheetrock, plywood, and veneers), sidings, sheathing, roofing, building paper, insulating materials, door and window frames, and interior and exterior trim.
