Carpenter

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work: doors, cabinetry, skirting, windows, wooden floors.
• Carry out general maintenance: ceilings, painting, minor building repairs, locking mechanisms.
• Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance and respond to reactive calls.
• Submit job cards, keep work areas clean, and maintain tools.
• Follow OHS and TFS SHEQ standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Reliable, presentable, service-oriented, and able to manage own workload.
• Friendly, polite, and professional when dealing with customers.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Carpentry
• Trade Test.
• 3 years’ carpentry/maintenance experience.
• General handyman skills (basic plumbing, building, metalwork).
• Good communication, customer service, and ability to work independently.
