Cargo Containment System Lead

Job Summary and Purpose

Lead and conduct inspection of Cargo Containment System during the construction of several LNG vessels to be built at shipbuilding site for the Nakilat newbuilding programs. Ensure site team attendance at all scheduled inspections, commissioning, tests, demonstrations, and trials in accordance with the shipbuilder's published schedule per scope of work. Conduct formal inspections, tests, etc., that may be scheduled outside of the main shipbuilding facility, including but not limited to vendor's shop tests. Close monitoring and updates on construction of Cargo containment systems, barrier spaces, MARVS arrangements, LNG pump towers, and piping systems. This includes structural fitting, welding arrangements, hull outfit, and other related items. Additionally, participate in equipment shop tests, vessel trials, and verify LNG boil-off warranties, as well as oversee vessel deliveries.
