About the role

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infections, and promptly raise any identified risks.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
