Job Summary

Shift Details: Day shift only, full-time. As a Care Assistant you will deliver high standards of personal care, fully contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
• Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
