About this role

Your focus as Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare is to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. You will assist residents with all personal hygiene tasks, ensuring independence, dignity, and respect for each individual.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection and promptly escalated any identified risks.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
