Overview

Position: Care Assistant Location: Avonmere Care Home, Bristol Shift: 8am – 8pm

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and care, supporting their independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection, escalating any identified risks promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, maintaining the dignity and individuality of each person.
• Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
• Contribute fully to the care team, ensuring continuity of services for residents.
