CARE ASSISTANT, 4TH FLOOR WARD

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.

• Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.

• Obtain unit report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.

• Daily routine: Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate effectively with them and their families about the patient’s condition and the care required.

  Provide attentive care to infants and young children, and manage challenging situations with them.

  Prepare and tidy patients’ beds and linens as needed, organize patients’ belongings and furniture, disinfect beds, furniture, and equipment after use, keep the ward and storage areas clean, assist patients with filling hot water flasks, answ...
