Cardiology Technologist I

The Cardiac Diagnostics department within SHC is currently recruiting a Cardiology Technologist I. Reporting to the Unit Manager of Cardiac Diagnostics and Clinics, the Cardiology Technologist is responsible for the performance of various cardiac tests, understanding and recognizing the pathophysiology associated with these test results, and processing the resulting data. Specifically, the Cardiology Technologist will: Demonstrate proficiency and prioritization in performing electrocardiograms (ECGs). Apply, process and review the data associated with holter and event monitors. Apply blood pressure monitors. Work collaboratively with various practitioners to facilitate stress testing.
