Cardiac Sonographer (Casual Call, Day Shift)

Position Summary:

Perform daily clinical adult cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures (echocardiography), assessing basic and advanced cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, creating preliminary reports for interpretation by cardiologist.


Minimum Qualifications:

Required

+ Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a CAAHEP program or Health Science Program

+ American Heart Association BLS

+ Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required within one (1) year of hire

+ Six (6) months of clinical training in cardiac ultrasound or comparable experience


Preferred

+ Two (2) years of experience in post-graduation cardiac ultrasound

+ American Heart Association ACLS
