**GENERAL OVERVIEW**

This job assists the Invasive Cardiologist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures; demonstrates leadership in collaboration with co-workers to achieve efficient and cost effective functioning of the department.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Integrates knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular physiology, pathophysiology, and procedural techniques being performed, and assists accordingly. (45%)
+ Maintains expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques as they relate to invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures. (15%)
+ Orients new staff on the operation of laboratory equipment. Troubleshoots malfunctions, and is knowledgeable of proper support personnel and instances when they need to be contacted. (15%)
+ Anticipates adverse reactions/conditions when monitoring the effects of procedural activities, and responds...
