Candidate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is recruiting for a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to support senior quantity surveyors and learning the full scope of the profession. 1x Cape Town office and 1x Johannesburg Office.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Education

• BTech Quantity Surveying (from an institution accredited by the relevant professional council (e.g., SACQSP, RICS).
• Registered with the appropriate body as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor

Experience

• 5 years post-graduation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain organized project records and cost data.
• Assist in compiling progress reports, cost reports, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare logbooks, diaries, or reports required for professional registration (e.g., RICS APC, SACQSP PrQS logbook).
• Assist in preparing initial cost estimates and feasibility studies.
