CAD Engineer / Specialist

We are seeking a CAD Engineer/Specialist to join our Whitehall, MI location as a member of the Whitehall Casting Layout Dept and Engineering teams. This position will be responsible for working with engineering on process improvement initiatives, customer qualification activities, and product tooling design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Complete customer First Article inspection packages using various metrology tools including structured light, GOM, CMM, and various mechanical measurement tools

+ Prepare and complete customer reports with detailed inspection data

+ Work with engineering and quality on customer approval packages, and quotes

+ Provides technical support to engineers, and other departments to support tooling development and process improvements

+ Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others

+ Self-motivated
