Cable Technician

Responsibilities

+ Pull, install, and terminate Cat5e and Cat6 cabling

+ Work with fiber optic cabling (splicing is a plus)

+ Perform testing and basic troubleshooting

+ Read and follow blueprints and project specifications

+ Maintain clean and organized job sites

+ Travel to project sites across Southern California

Qualifications

+ 4 to 5+ years of structured cabling experience

+ Strong experience with Cat5e/Cat6 installation and termination

+ Fiber optic experience required

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

+ Own basic cabling tools

+ Reliable vehicle (must be able to transport a ladder or equipment)

+ Flexibility to work early start times and longer shifts

Preferred Experience

+ Fiber splicing

+ Data center, hospital, or secure environment projects

+ Government or regulated job site experience
