Cable Technician - NIGHT SHIFT

TEKsystems has a need for a Cable Tech AND/OR Data Center Technician to work a NIGHT SHIFT capacity. This would be a contract for a few months in the Colorado Springs area.
SHIFT HOURS: 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM Sunday through Thursday (5 nights)
MUST HAVE basic cabling/rack/stack/layer 1 troubleshooting.

+ Must be detail oriented and able to work alone.

+ 1+ years of exp cable technician experience

+ CAT5, CAT6, or fiber, installation / termination

JOB DUTIES:

+ Navigate a data center (row/aisle/rack/equipment)

+ Identify ports/equipment

+ Use labeling printers

+ Detail oriented

+ Install patch cords based on spreadsheets (to/from)

+ Run/install cabling/fiber with best data center standards (need/maintain bend radius/etc.)

+ Use of test equipment when required a plus (Fluke)

+ Must be able to work individually as well as report directly to customer management
