**Cable Technician - Entry Level or Skilled**

***Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa***

**_-Position Overview_**

+ A Cable Technician is needed to support commercial structured cabling projects involving data and fiber installation. This role is open to both entry‑level candidates with foundational skills and experienced technicians with advanced cabling knowledge.

**_-Compensation_**

+ Starting pay: $20 - $23 hourly for entry-level / $24+ hourly for skilled & experienced cable techs (such as Tech II or III)

**_-Key Responsibilities_**

+ Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling
+ Assist with or perform fiber splicing, connector installation, and troubleshooting
+ Install cable pathways, racks, ladder trays, patch panels, and related infrastructure
+ Read and follow cabling layouts, drawings, and project documentation
