Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician II to support structured cabling installations across commercial and industrial environments. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling systems while assisting with team coordination and project execution.
Key Responsibilities

+ Install and terminate CAT3, CAT5, and CAT6 cabling for voice and data systems

+ Mount faceplates, surface mount boxes, and modular/floor outlets

+ Build and outfit telecom closets, including:

+ Backboards, racks, patch panels, and cross-connects

+ Fiber optic hardware installations


+ Perform IDC terminations (110/66 blocks and patch panels)

+ Conduct cable testing and troubleshooting:

+ Continuity testing (horizontal & riser cable)

+ Identify and resolve opens, shorts, crossed and transposed pairs
