Cable Technician

*Description*
*Seeking multiple Installation & Cable Technicians for projects in the Ames and Des Moines, IA areas, with some travel required (per diem provided). Candidates should have at least 6 months of low-voltage experience; individuals with relevant training or hands-on schooling will also be considered.*
*Technicians will install data racks and cabinets, run Cat6 and coaxial cabling, and install faceplates. Responsibilities include testing and labeling cables, as well as assisting with the setup of cable boxes, modems, and satellite systems for individual rooms. The role also involves supporting the build-out of server closets and network infrastructure.*
*Work will take place both indoors and outdoors at schools and apartment complexes. Additional duties may include trenching and directional drilling as needed. Technicians will take direction from project leads throughout the assignment.*
