Cable Construction Supervisor

A Construction Supervisor is needed to oversee the daily operations of the Blue Ridge Communications Construction Department. The position will also coordinate and oversee Palmerton Telephone construction as needed. Will work closely with other construction supervisors as well as the Engineering department. Responsibilities Overseeing all aerial and underground construction projects that include splicing of strand, coax, fiber and copper telephone cable Interacting and coordinating with utility companies, construction companies and various state and local government entities Inventory and ordering of construction material and tools Safety, dielectric testing and documentation of all trucks and equipment during energized utility work Participating in the construction on-call schedule Highway safety procedures including flagging and wor...
