The Cable Assembly Operator is responsible to correctly and efficiently complete wire and cable assemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Coach and train new, less experienced assemblers

+ Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.

+ Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.

+ Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.

+ Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.

+ Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.

+ Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
