Pursue a permanent Well Pump Installer position with BW Gold at the Blackwater Mine site. This role is crucial for the setup and maintenance of water well pumping systems.
As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will handle pump installations, system diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all work meets local regulations. Candidates should have a valid BC well installer certification, a mechanical background, and a strong service attitude. This position involves a 2 weeks on/off rotation, ideal for those willing to work in remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lower and install pumps, piping, and cables efficiently
• Test and prime systems to ensure optimal flow
• Configure pump settings for efficiency
• Safely remove and replace old pump components
• Inspect well systems for operational integrity
Requirements:
• Certification as a BC well installer
• Minimum of 3,000 hours of relevant experience
