What You'll Do

• Oversight of inventory levels for assigned commodities to maintain healthy stock levels and improve inventory turns.
• Leverage market insights to drive competitive pricing strategies and proactively mitigate pricing risks.
• Analyze incoming goods against forecast/demand, establish reorder points in the system.
• Communicate purchase order requirements to the Purchasing Manager for approval.
• Review vendor scorecards, flag increasing risk to the Purchasing Manager, and conduct scorecard reviews with suppliers.
• Identify potential obsolete or slow‑moving material and forward to the Dry Goods Purchasing Manager for review.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key suppliers.
