Buyer Position
We are looking for a buyer with 2+ years of buying experience. This is a contract role, based in Silverton, Pretoria.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer is responsible for the purchasing of goods within the procurement department. Experience in buying raw materials is advantageous.
Strong communication skills within the team and with clients.
Maintaining good relationships with clients.
Capturing information, sending it through to the relevant departments, and following up.
Computer literacy: this role involves a lot of PC work on basic Microsoft Office, as well as buying programs.
At least 2 years of buying experience is required to be comfortable stepping into this role. Desired Experience & Qualifications
Matric.
2+ years buying experience.
Experience buying raw materials is advantageous.
Bilingual: English and Afrikaans.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
