Summary
The Buyer/Planner is responsible for developing and executing material and production planning for a designated manufacturing area. This includes managing inventory levels, issuing purchase and manufacturing orders, and ensuring materials are available to support production needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role serves as the daily point of contact for supplier execution issues and ensures alignment with MRP schedules and inventory targets.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  (Other duties may be assigned.)
* Material & Production Planning
+ Plan manufacturing schedules to meet customer delivery demands and inventory targets.
+ Release and manage Purchase Orders and Manufacturing Orders through MRP from creation to closure.
