Description

As a Buyer, you will join our talented Purchasing Department working alongside our Asset Managers (Material Planners) and Program Management Team. In this key role, you will produce a high quantity of accurate purchasing transactions. Business processes through a variety of systems, programs, and operations will keep you in sync with material demands and on target to achieve individual and team KPIs. Commodities you could procure may include, but are not limited to, Printed Circuit Boards, Cable Assemblies and Harness, various types of electronic components, custom and catalog assemblies, and Sheet Metal/Machined Parts. Ownership • High performance: deliver a high volume of purchasing transactions on a daily basis • Proactively and assertively negotiate with suppliers for anything from commodities to shipping terms to avoid excess cost and purchase price variance • Able to keep abreast of all changes related to commodity/desk • Manage Past Due deliveries, Pull-ins, ...
