**Job Description:**

Perform and/or coordinate the planning, scheduling, procurement, and expediting for specific product lines to meet master schedule and customer order requirements. Also maintain inventory levels. Job duties:

+ Issue purchase orders for direct and indirect materials.
+ Schedule and purchase manufacturing product and assure stock levels.
+ Maintain inventory stock.
+ Assist in development of procedures and policies to ensure supplier reliability and competitive pricing of raw materials.
+ Prepare bid or quote specifications.
+ Contact vendors regarding problem orders, certificates, invoices etc.
+ Maintain successful relationships with vendors and internal customers to ensure satisfactory procurement of materials.
+ Input data into MRP system.
+ Maintain safety stock levels to meet demands.
+ Work with vendors for needed deliveries.
