On behalf of our Aerospace client, Procom is searching for a Buyer for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Elma Center, New York office.

Buyer - Job Description:
The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of parts and services in accordance with company policies and department KPI’s. This role involves collaborating with external suppliers and internal departments during continuous improvement projects to ensure effective and efficient procurement processes.

Buyer - Responsibilities:
• Work closely with suppliers and internal staff to fulfill requests for parts and services delivery.
• Submit and analyze RFQs for parts and services.
• Create and amend purchase orders as needed.
• Manage supplier delivery schedules by maintaining PO delivery dates to support production and balance inventory levels.
• Reconcile purchase order issues related to quantity and pricing.
