:The Buyer will contribute to strategic sourcing, drive compliance, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage requisitions and ad-hoc procurement requests in line with agreed service levels.
Source goods and services to deliver best value, balancing cost, lead time, and business priorities.
Support departmental KPIs including: Spend Under Control; Under Contract; Preferred Suppliers; Programmes of Work
Collaborate with Category Managers to support category strategies and execute subcategory tenders.
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and select the most suitable procurement methods.
Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure business needs are consistently met.
Maintain procurement systems such as SAP Ariba and contribute to process impro...
