An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer to join a growing manufacturing business, supporting procurement activities within a dynamic supply chain environment. The position will focus on sourcing subcontract machining services, ensuring reliable supply, competitive pricing, and consistent supplier performance within an engineering setting.

Key Responsibilities for this Buyer role:

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for machined components and subcontract services
• Raise and manage purchase orders in line with production requirements
• Source and engage with suppliers, obtaining quotations and negotiating pricing and lead times
• Monitor supplier performance in relation to quality, cost and delivery
